Caifornia Condor

A California condor at the Grand Canyon. I didn’t realize before we went that there were condors in the canyon. One of the ubiquitous mules had died and the condors and other carrior birds were gorging themselves. This one was resting. Its crop is visible. It was sunning it to aid digestion, or so someone told me.
