Contestants in the 2007 Concurso Tinku, a contest in traditional Bolivian dance. The contest was held in Arlington with about 10 dance associations competing. Many of the dancers are second generation immigrants. Some of the dances, like this one, have distinct native American costume and stories, in this case a story of contests revolving around Pacha Mama or mother earth. Others show more of the Spanish culture and costume.
