Architectural details from the US Capitol interior, chandelier
Architectural details from the US Capitol interior. I believe they said the crystal chandelier in this small rotunda had been bought from the Baltimore Opera house when that company bankrupted. It is a nice fixture for this room, but the space appears to be difficult to utilize, now a passage to the offices and Senate hall beyond.
