Cherry blossoms

Cherry blossoms

Cherry blossoms shown up close. Cherry blossoms – the ornamental type, bloom extremely thickly on the branch. The petals fall off while the flower is still at its peak – they don’t wither first. For this reason the Japanese think of them as tragic, cherry blossoms remind them of friends who died in the prime of life, at their peak.
