Inactive geyser

An inactive geyser in the Norris basin at Yellowstone National Park. The signs there tell us that geysers become active and go inactive or are newly created from time to time, often in correspondence to earthquakes nearby or far away – one I recall coincided with an earthquake in Alaska.
