Brownsea Island Camp Reenactment at the Scout Jamboree

Men and boys dressed in period costumes at a reenactment of the Brownsea Island Camp performed at the Boy Scout National Centennial Jamboree. In 1907, Lt. General Baden-Powell tested his ideas for his book, Scouting for Boys at an eight day camp at Brownsea Island. That camp is regarded as the beginning of scouting.
These reenactors are preparing to raise a flag.
Shot with a Nikon D80 and a 135mm AIS lens.
