White wildflower – death camas

White wildflower

A white wildflower, a death camas, seen in June on the Appalachian Trail in Virginia. This variety of flower was blooming extensively along the trail in the Shenandoah National Park. It has a complex flower with many blossoms, like a hyacinth and grassy leaves. It is a poisonous plant, don’t eat it.
