Boy Scout Sled Team at the 2011 Klondike Derby

The Red Eagles, one of the competing teams in the 2011 Klondike Derby race away from their last stop to the finish line.

The annual Klondike Derby was held in 2011 at Camp Highroads in Aldie. Each sled team is a patrol from a local troop. They pulled their sleds through the snow about five miles and competed at seven stations.
