Jaguar Head on the Bow of an Aymara Totora Boat

A woven jaguar head on an Aymara Totora. These boats are made from woven reed bundles. totora are fishing and ritual boats made by indigenous peoples in Bolivia and Peru and used on Lake Titicaca. This figurehead looks like a jaguar. Seen in the National Museum of the American Indian.
