Cypripedium acaule - Pink Ladyslipper Orchid

A pink ladyslipper orchid (Cypripedium acaule). This specimen was seen in the Shenandoah National Park next to a trail near Old Rag Mountain. It was in a small patch of pink ladyslipper orchids, all blooming at once.
Shot with a Nikon D80 and a 55mm AIS macro lens.
