Cluster of Black Locust Flowers

Cluster of Black Locust Flowers

A cluster of black locust flowers. The way the flowers are arranged reminds me of wisteria or pea flowers. The black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) has very hard wood used in many applications. The dense flowers are a source of honey nectar.
Shot with a Nikon D80 and a 55mm AIS macro lens.
