A cluster of blue ageratum flowers

A cluster of blue ageraturn (Ageratum houstonianum) flowers. Pretty little buttons when immature, hexagonal in shape, then becoming fuzzy. Widely used as a bedding flower, very attractive to pollinators and therefore probably useful for attracting songbirds who feed on those insects.
Shot with a Nikon D80 and a 55mm AIS macro lens.
